John and Staff Julie and John have been in the world of catering and restaurants for over 25 years and bring a wealth of experience with them as Wedding Service Providers. Before settling in Sitges, they ran various establishments from small 'bed and breakfasts' to very large venues such as the 200 year-old Mill Hotel and Restaurant, catering for more than 200 covers. Throughout their progression Julie and John have always focused on quality and the satisfaction of their guests. Julie has been Head Chef in many restaurants which were regularly accredited for their high standards of cuisine. Later Julie became Chef and Personal Assistant , looking after many of his VIP guests including government and Royal visitors. John concentrated on the 'front of house' being trained to the highest of standards by Bass Breweries and gaining his British Institute of Innkeepers Certificate, Master Cellarman and several Trainer Skills Awards. |
Julie and Special Guest In the '90s they moved from management to owning and running their own venues, including restaurants and a hotel. In 2002 they decided to move to the sunny climes of Sitges, where they run the very popular Square Bar and Bistro, bringing new standards of service and cuisine to the area. In 2006, after studying Wedding Provider Services in Sitges, they decided The Square, with its unique romantic character, offered a wonderful Wedding Venue. Their future plans are to open a champagne reception veranda where the Bride and her Groom and their guests can enjoy the spectacular views of the Sitges coastline and toast their future happiness.
